Before starting the LBD program, I had previously completed a 6-week challenge upon signing up with FitBodyBootCamp. I took a leap of faith in starting the program and the return on investment was greater than I imagined. Being a program for women only, it offered the community of supportive women encouraging each other towards the same goals of weight loss and becoming stronger, overcoming the mental and physical challenges, and choosing to become the better version of ourselves.
I became a member of FBBC the summer of 2018, completing my first LBD that Fall. It couldn’t have come in better timing. My life had taken a traumatic change overnight, and anxiety and depression, were getting the best of me. I would encourage LBD to other woman because it is a transformation from the inside out. As we all know, the tough work begins on the inside. LBD is more than a diet and exercise plan alone, it is a learned lifestyle. The insights learned will extend on to your friends and family, allowing you to make more of a difference than you will ever know.
LBD taught me a lot about food and allowed me to focus on how the food I was putting in my body made me feel. I used to struggle a lot with telling myself no when it came to food, and LBD helped me gain the discipline I needed in this area. I’ve been apart of a lot of programs that deal with weight and nutrition and LBD by far has been the best in terms of practicality and helping me to meet my long-term goals.
